Privacy Policy
Information we use
CINORA is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. Basic technical information may be processed by our hosting and security infrastructure to deliver and protect the service.
Local features
Features such as a watchlist may store preferences in your browser unless a future account feature clearly states otherwise.
Analytics
CINORA uses self-hosted Umami analytics to measure aggregate visits and product interactions so we can understand which pages and discovery features are useful. Automated and bot traffic may be filtered from these measurements.
Third-party services
Open catalog metadata comes from Wikidata, and licensed media may be loaded from Wikimedia Commons when file-level commercial reuse is clear. If you follow a reference link to Wikidata, Wikipedia, IMDb or another external destination, that service may process the request under its own privacy terms.
Advertising and Google AdSense
CINORA is preparing to use Google AdSense after the site is approved for advertising. Ads are not currently loaded by the CINORA pages. When AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and other approved third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve, measure and protect advertising.
Google advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on a visitor’s activity on CINORA and, where permitted, prior visits to other websites. Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, CINORA will use a Google-certified consent management platform before enabling advertising where required. Consent choices may affect whether personalized, non-personalized or limited ads can be shown.
More information about how Google uses data on partner sites is available from Google’s partner-sites privacy information.
Contact submissions
If you use the CINORA contact form, the name you provide, your email address, request category and message are stored privately so the request can be reviewed and answered. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
